I am in a horrible quandary as to what to do with Harry.

Earlier, I'd planned to have a H/G sub-pairing. I think they are cute together, Harry's Oedipus-esque complex makes me giggle, and they are canon, which is always nice. I love canon pairings--- in canon.

This is fanfiction. Thus, I figure I might as well branch out and pair (some blatantly) non-canon people together: Hermione and Draco, most obviously. Ron and Luna. Ginny, no problem (she is just that promiscuous popular). But Harry?

I've already decided who Harry's going to be paired with; that isn't the difficult part. The thing is, this huge, grand sub-plot came to me last night, and I love it. Only problem is that Zoe's already announced that Harry's engaged, though she hasn't mentioned the name of his fiancee.

This does not bode well for my new plan! I've got to free Harry up somehow, the poor thing. I s'pose he could have a big fight with his current fiancee, but that is just a tad bit too melodramatic, even for me.

I think Lisa Turpin's going to be pulled out of the woodwork soon. Plus, she's sisters with Zoe, which might make for some delicious scandal once she and Harry break up.

Yes, that's probably what I'll have to do.

On a brighter note, thanks for the add! I wasn't really expecting people to friend this journal, so it was a pleasant surprise. Things might be vaguely spoiler-ish (as you may already have seen), so hopefully it won't be a huge problem. I'll try not to let too much go, but I'm horribly predictable, so we'll see!

I am so pleased I've managed to finish Chapter 7 of TLH today! It's been half-written in Word for about a month now, but I've been so busy with final exams and college applications that I haven't had a spare five minutes for a long time.

I've just uploaded, and I am supremely happy that Cyan's lisp will be tackled soon. Next chapter, fingers crossed! Weally.

I'm also a little worried because Draco and Cyan want to be bff too soon, too fast, and that just isn't realistic. We've been fighting for a while over this issue. But hopefully, that too will be overcome in the next couple of chapters.


Since my first semester exams are over (!!!!!), I'm predicting that I will update within the month. Toes crossed!

Instead of finding notes to myself about TLH in my Physics notebook or Calculus textbook or scrawled in the margins of my paper on why Banquo is the worst character in Macbeth, I've decided to be amazingly organized (!! I know) and compile everything-- ideas, problems, updates-- in one journal.

This is probably more for me than for you (to be honest, I don't know why you're reading this, unless you're interested in hearing me bitch about how Draco just won't shut up or how Hermione's just ruined the whole subplot I'd planned). If you do, it's fine with me, and if you don't, that's absolutely okay too.
